Music Scholarship

in 2012, there will be a $500 scholarship offered to a grade 10-12 exceptional student musician living in the tri-city (Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares) area.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria and Requirements:
- Complete and sign scholarship application.
- Short essay of 300 words or less describing how you plan to use the scholarship money and how that reflects your passion for the pursuit of music as a career goal or avocation.
- One letter of recommendation from your music instructor telling us about your musicianship and character.
- Two additional letters of recommendation from people who know you well and can write about the your dedication, and current accomplishments and promise in music.
- Be a current Lake County full-time student, in grades 10-12 only.
- Live within the tri-city area (Mount Dora, Eustis, Tavares)
- Not have been found guilty of, or plead no contest to, a felony charge.
Applications & reference letters must be received by January 15, 2012.
Scholarship to be awarded on Sunday, February 19, 2012.
