In their first Mount Dora Music Festival appearance, Florida's own Alter Eagles - The Definitive Eagles Tribute Band, will take the stage to present a live musical recreation of The Eagles' legendary songs.

Performing the tunes of The Eagles, who pioneered a new style of music called Southern California country-folk, the Alter Eagles were brought together by their love and admiration of the original band's music. In the 1970s the super group became the decades best-selling musical act, recording five #1 singles, six #1 albums and winning six Grammy and five American Music awards. Their Greatest Hits (1971-75) continues to be the #1 best selling album of all time in North America

Sure to rekindle a flood of fond memories, this six-piece professional touring group has perfected the timeless lyrics, vocal harmonies, instrumental arrangements, and unmistakable guitar riffs of classic Eagles hits such as Hotel California, Best of My Love, One of These Nights, New Kid in Town, and Heartache Tonight. Performing the songs that have sustained The Eagles' popularity for 40 years, the Alter Eagles use no backing tracks as they create note-for-note renditions of hits like Lyin' Eyes, Take It To The Limit, Take It Easy, Life In The Fast Lane, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Desperado, The Long Run, and Witchy Woman, as well as post-reunion releases and songs from the solo careers of Don Henley and Joe Walsh and their latest albums Hell Freezes Over and Long Road Out Of Eden.
