Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra

The beloved and acclaimed Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra, Lake County's resident professional orchestra will salute the Nation. Performing under the baton of conductor Michael J. Garasi, the 60-member FLSO will present 'Heartland America,' a concert featuring Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Guy Saint-Clair pianist, America the Beautiful, Shenandoah, and works from Stephen Foster, Glenn Miller and John Phillip Sousa.

Artistic Director/Composer/Pianist Guy Saint-Clair (pictured at the piano) is a brilliant international soloist and composer, as well as a child prodigy composing at age three and performing as a soloist with orchestra at age five. He has studied with giants of the piano including Yvonne Loriod, Olivier Messiaen, Frieda Valenzi, and Paul Baumgartner. He has earned Doctorates from France, Germany, and Switzerland. His compositions have been recorded with famous symphonies in Holland, France, and England. His recording with the London Symphony Orchestra includes several world premieres. Guy and his wife, Audrey Sanders, are the founders of the FLSO

Musical Director/Conductor, Michael J. Garasi (pictured behind piano), holds graduate degrees from Eastman School of Music and the Cleveland Institute of Music and has studied with Pierre Boulez.
