Glazer FamilyThe Glazer family hails from Montréal, and has been in Orlando since 1998. Everyone is quite active musically; the kids play in youth symphony, each has been to all-state many times and won many competitions and they have opened for hundreds of concerts. They have a string trio, play in jazz band, everyone is a multi-instrumentalist, and they enjoy singing together! Parents, Élaine teaches piano, and Benoit, is a world class conductor, and well recorded studio musician who has led the band at La Nouba (Cirque du Soleil) since 1998. Together, they founded the Timucua Arts Foundation to help enrich the artistic life of Central Floridians. They also built their 'white house' specifically to present concerts and recordings, and have been doing so since 2000. The house is full of instruments which all get played regularly! Get ready for a variety of styles and formats, from choral to concerti, and some contemporary chamber music too. |
